A casting policy used with the intent to increase employment for actors of color, women, seniors, performers with disabilities, and transgender and gender non-conforming actors when their placement in the role is not altering the play or their character’s development in regards to the change in race, age, ethnicity, gender identity, or the presence or absence of a disability.
