Glossary

Gaslighting

A form of abuse and manipulation where one person attempts to overwrite another person’s reality. It does not require deliberate plotting, only the belief that it is acceptable to overwrite another person’s reality. (44)

Gatekeeper

Anyone in a position of power that can grant or deny access to institutional resources. (65)

Gender Parity

Achieving equity when comparing a particular indicator for men to the same indicator among women, trangender, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming people. (86)
